Chantal and Jared

Normally I would start a wedding post with a little information about the bride and groom; how they met, how he proposed, how I had grown to know them over their engagement. These images, however, are from a fantastic model shoot I was fortunate enough to attend last week at WPPI. Chantal and Jared are a real couple, which made them a breeze to shoot; they had a natural way with the camera and they were willing to do pretty much anything we (and by we, I mean a posse of photographers, all with different ideas about posing) wanted them to. They were fun and such great sports about standing outside in the chilly temperatures.

This is the first post with images from the shoot. We were fortunate to have several different stations to shoot, and photos from some of the other areas will be posted soon. The shoot itself was organized by the very lovely and very talented Laura Marchbanks and benefited The Portrait House. We were also SUPER lucky to have Justin and Mary Marantz there to give us instruction and inspiration — possibly my favorite part of the entire trip. I feel so blessed to have been a part of this event. I hope you like the photos. If you do, please let me know in the comments section!

This one is my favorite. Look at her eyes!!

Keep your eyes peeled for part 2!
