Weddings

Many photographers limit the number of hours that they will spend at your wedding. I don't ever want my couples to feel like they're on the clock, so full-day coverage is offered in all but my lowest package. All packages include an engagement shoot and a private online gallery. I know how to pin a boutonniere and bustle a dress. I always carry stain remover, safety pins, and mints. I will most likely cry and will definitely dance.

Starting at $3200.

Kids and Families

Fresh, fun, happy portraits with no matching outfits and zero cheese! My goal is to capture your family exactly how they are, perfectly imperfect. I love kids, I'm very patient, and I always have treats. I'm an expert at making mom and dad feel good in front of the camera, and if you bring your dog I will more than likely try to take him home with me.

Starting at $325.

Seniors

Your senior portrait is part of the legacy you leave behind as you move on with the next stage of your life; since my own legacy includes a mullet and giant hoops, I know how important it is to make timeless pictures that won't lose their appeal. I photograph seniors in locations that are simple and special to them, and I make the process fun and relaxing.

Sessions are $350 and include an 8x10 print and a digital file for the yearbook.

Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your style of photography?

I think that the best photos happen during the in-between moments. Most people don't like being posed, especially children, so both my wedding and my portrait sessions unfold as the story of who you are in that moment. I will be there to document your wedding in an authentic way, capturing all of the smiles and tears and laughter that make up the day. During family portraits, I encourage everyone to run and play and climb things — to be themselves! No stiff lineups, no matchy-matchy, and absolutely no saying cheese. My photos are colorful and light and filled with emotion. I do very minimal post-processing as I truly believe that we are all beautiful just the way we are. That said, I will definitley erase any blemishes or booboos that show up uninvited.

How long have you been a professional photographer?

I have been photographing children and families since 2006, and I shot my first wedding in 2008. My goal is to become your photographer for life; I love taking photos of the babies of my brides and grooms, or the weddings of my former seniors!

We only want the digital files, do you offer that?

My top three wedding packages include a digital download of all of your delivered files. Portrait customers can purchase a digital package, or buy individual digital files separately. While I do understand the impulse to own digital copies of your sessions, I also strongly encourage clients to print their photos. Make albums! Display canvases in your home! Frame those gorgeous faces and show them off! The digital world moves at a frightening speed; the chances that your digital files will be unreadable (remember when all computers had CD drives?) a few years down the road is a distinct possibility. I encourage sharing on social media, but unless you want all of your relatives to gather 'round the laptop at your 50th anniversary, I say PRINT!
