Meghan and Jon — Ocean Cliff Wedding Photographer

The morning of Meghan and Jon’s Newport wedding dawned foggy and cool; somewhat typical for Newport in September, but still, the couple was hoping for sunnier skies. After all, one of the benefits of getting married at the Ocean Cliff Resort is the incredible view of the Newport Bridge and the drift of sailboats cruising by. When matters hadn’t improved 20 minutes before their ceremony, they both shrugged it off — they had each other, and that was all that was really important.

The music started, and Meghan and her dad started their walk down the aisle, and like magic, the veil of fog went up like a curtain, and the sun beamed down on this amazing couple and their guests. The ceremony was bright and filled with love, and the reception was a beautiful mix of dancing and toasts and happy laughter. Jon closed the show by joining the band and belting out some sweet Journey.
